The Controls Engineer will work on-site at a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company, focusing on installing and upgrading manufacturing systems.
This role involves developing, installing, and commissioning controls and automation systems, as well as providing technical support.
While previous pharmaceutical experience is preferred, it is not required.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, install, and commission controls and automation systems, including PLC programming, HMI development, robot programming, and MES data collection.
- Provide technical support for controls and automation systems.
- Design and specify plant control system architecture, including control panels, hardware, and communication protocols.
- Develop and enforce process controls standards.
- Perform hands-on tasks, including changing panel components and devices.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 5 years in a Controls & Automation Engineering role.
- Proficiency in ladder logic programming within Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix) is required.
- Ability to create electrical drawings with AutoCAD is required.
- Experience programming Fanuc, ABB, or Universal robots is preferred
- Knowledge in pharmaceutical GMP's is strongly preferred.
