A correctional facility is seeking a physician for locum tenens coverage. Creds take about 4 weeks.
The facility is located in eastern WI (near Green Bay).
This position is located in a correctional institution near Green Bay, WI, starting in November and ongoing. It offers a Monday through Friday schedule, with the option of working 8-5 or four 10-hour shifts.
No call or weekend duties are required. The caseload is 10-12 adult male inmates in a maximum-security facility. The EMR system used is Cerner, with extensive training provided.
Required certifications include BE / BC, BLS, DEA, WI License, three references (two from supervisors), and Covid vaccination.
The provider will handle injury treatment, acute illness, follow-ups, physicals, and corrections, with additional support staff and HSM available.
