Process Engineer (Nashville, TN)

We’re looking for a Process Engineer to be part of a plastics manufacturing team and help drive operational improvements in the printing plant.
If you love finding ways to make processes more efficient, enjoy tackling complex problems, and are passionate about safety and quality, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing :
- Leading safety and efficiency initiatives (think Lean Manufacturing, ISO, 5S, and Six Sigma).
- Collaborating with various teams to solve problems, improve plant efficiency, and meet quality standards.
- Designing, testing, and implementing new systems to improve reliability and reduce costs.
- Optimizing existing processes and helping develop new products.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and meeting local regulatory standards.
Who You Are :
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Chemistry (or a related field).
- Have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, ideally in flexographic printing.
- A pro at working with Lean Manufacturing, ISO, and Six Sigma.
- Comfortable with both technical writing and presenting your ideas to a group.
- A great at problem-solving and can think on your feet when there’s no clear path.
- A whiz with Microsoft Office, and database experience is a bonus.
