Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will report directly to the Nurse Manager of the Labor and Delivery Unit. This role requires close collaboration with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and pediatricians to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

You will also work closely with other nursing staff to provide comprehensive care.

Our Labor and Delivery Unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for mothers and their babies.

We offer a full range of services, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum support. Our team is dedicated to providing personalized care that respects the unique needs of each family.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
• Monitor the mother and baby's vital signs, administering medications and interventions as needed.
• Assist in managing pain relief during labor, including administering epidurals or other pain management options.
• Support and educate mothers and families throughout the childbirth process, offering guidance on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of care provided, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Participate in emergency interventions, such as C-sections, as required.
