Support Technician - Radiology Support

Job Summary

Performs designated duties to assist the department staff in the areas of patient care and departmental and equipment orderliness and cleanliness. Job Responsibilities

• Assists clinicians with the care of patients as directed.
• Assists clinicians with positioning patients as directed.
• Transports patients and materials as directed.
• Utilizes safe lifting techniques and appropriate assistive devices.
• Cleans and maintains patient care areas.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies as directed by clinicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher preferred
• No experience required
• BLS - Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required within 90 days of employment in this position

• Works under minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Learning and applies knowledge at a basic level relying heavily on senior staff for troubleshooting.
