What To Expect (Job Responsibilities) :
- Drive the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization
- Establish and improve sales processes, including targeting and segmentation
- Lead territory alignment and customer targeting processes
- Develop and implement automated reporting for analysis and review
- Design and administer sales incentive compensation plans
What Is Required (Qualifications) :
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales operations and analytics within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical sales and marketing strategies
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and project management skills
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :
- Advanced degree in MBA, MS, MD, or PhD
- Experience in building sales incentive compensation plans
- Previous experience in a matrix environment and collaborating across functions and geographies
