The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain manufacturing and assembly equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the organizational goals and objectives.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Diagnose and repair various equipment such as production assembly, testing equipment, conveyance systems, torque systems, press systems, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems.
Work with production to correct quality issues as well as continuous improvement projects.
Operate powered industrial trucks, man lifts, overhead cranes and portable cranes.
Fabricate equipment and rebuild tools.
Rebuild gearboxes, spindles, and drill units.
Read and interpret test equipment data.
Comply with the OSHA Safety Standards : Hazard Communication; Blood borne Pathogens; Lockout; Permit Required Confined Space;
Hot Work Permit; Powered Industrial Trucks; P.P.E. and Ergonomics.
Participate in classes and training seminars to learn new technologies and techniques deemed helpful to performance on the job.
Follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties upon request of the supervisor.
HOURS :
2nd Shift : Monday - Friday 1 : 00 p.m. to 9 : 30 p.m., plus every other weekend
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing / assembly plant as a Maintenance Technician.
Experience working with Allen Bradley PLC's is highly desired; Siemens preferred.
Robotics maintenance experience preferred.
