JOB SUMMARY :

Marriott International has an opening for Director, Contract Management, Global Technology. As a director, you will lead a team of contract professionals who support the Global Technology Business in developing and executing effective contracting strategies for a technology category.

You will also ensure contract compliance and reporting, in alignment with legal requirements and Marriott policies.

You will have the opportunity to work with various technology partners and stakeholders, and to draft, negotiate, and execute complex agreements involving hardware, software, SaaS, consulting, development, cloud computing, and outsourcing services.

You will also manage the entire contracting lifecycle from RFx / competitive bid process through contract negotiations, execution, dispute resolution, benchmarking analysis, and renewals and terminations.

You will leverage your extensive knowledge of commercial contracts, risk management, and negotiation skills to deliver optimal outcomes for Marriott.

As a Director, you will also excel in people development and management, and foster a collaborative and inclusive culture within your team and across the organization.

Education and Experience Required :

  • 10+ years of complex contract management and sourcing in technology
  • Experience and competence negotiating technology agreements for hardware, software, ASP / SaaS, Cloud, hosting, and professional services, including transactions valued at $1mm and above
  • Fluency with MS Office technology, including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • 3+ years people manager experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills

Preferred :

  • 3+ years of complex digital contract negotiation experience
  • Legal or JD

  • Assists in contract interpretation, resolves escalated issues, and facilitates dispute resolutions.

Colorado Applicants Only : The salary range for this position is $110,550 to $222,943 annually.
