The engineering role provides Infoblox appliance engineering, operation tasks, and support for new innovations, projects, and standards development.

Ensures adherence to defined network Engineering Processes and identifies and helps influence platform strategic direction in coordination with business user needs and direction.

Enterprise Platforms Technology (EPTech) comprises many of Capital One’s most important enterprise platforms. We play an essential role in establishing practices for building technology solutions across the company, while also delivering capabilities that exemplify those practices.

General Responsibilities : Utilize DDI expertise to develop Enterprise network solutions within the Infoblox and AWS network spaceTechnology integration point with other Capital One engineering teams to provide strategic solutionsDevelop creative and innovative solutionsEngage with business groups to ensure DNS strategies and standards incorporated early in the processHelp Identify and manage risks within the DDI platformImplement engineered designs as applicablePlatform and incident management support and root cause analysisAbility to engage and influence team members as well as people external to the team Knowledge of Hardware and Software troubleshootingBasic Qualifications : High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certificationAt least 4 years of experience using build and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHub, or Artifactory)At least 2 years of experience with AWS Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree6+ years of experience with network switching, routing, load balancing, and firewall solutions4+ years of experience with Infoblox technologies2+ years of Python scripting experience2+ years of cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP1+ year of DNSSEC implementation and management experience2+ years of experience in Agile practicesInfoblox Core DDI Config & Admin (CCDA) CertificationAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.
