Senior Platform Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to build and operate a developer platform that supports product teams.

Key Responsibilities

Expand Backstage portal by creating software templates and onboarding existing services

Automate upgrades and establish platform guardrails to ensure compliance and ease of use

Collaborate with product teams to design workflows, gather feedback, and measure platform adoption

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience as a DevOps, SRE, Software, or Platform Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent experience

Production experience with Backstage or similar developer portals

Proficiency in cloud technologies and containers, as well as infrastructure as code tools

Strong coding skills in at least one programming language such as TypeScript, Java, Go, or Python
