ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :
Appropriately licensed New York City Department of Education administrator currently appointed as assistant principal or other supervisor serving in District 75
SELECTION CRITERIA :
- Satisfactory experience supervising home instruction teachers
- Knowledge of Home Instruction program procedures
- Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills
- Supervisor must have a satisfactory School Year on their two most recent employee ratings
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Supervise Per Session teachers of Home Instruction in students’ homes throughout the five boroughs
- Ensure consistent implementation of program objectives
- Supervise the maintenance of student records and act as liaison to Committees on Special Education and other agencies
WORK SCHEDULE :
- School Year : September 2024-June 2025
- Monday Friday, after school - (2 hours per day, minimum of 3 days per week)
Hours up to, but not limited to the approximate number of hours listed. Additional hours may be granted upon the approval of the hiring manager.
SALARY :
Per Session rates as per the relevant union / organization of the advertised title (Collective Bargaining Agreement). Contingent upon funding availability and programmatic approval.
