The Role :
A series C EdTech company with huge success in transforming their learning outcomes and are in a new growth phase. They are looking to bring on board a CTO with a culture of cross-collaboration to oversee 4 teams of engineering managers and a VP of engineering, helping to redefine their product roadmap.

Responsibilities :
- Align technical roadmaps with business goals to develop a cohesive strategy spanning short, medium, and long-term objectives.
- Actively engage in hands-on technical tasks as needed, such as system architecture, coding, and deployment, to drive innovation and maintain technical credibility.
- Devise phased architectural evolution plans, considering business continuity and minimizing disruptions, while ensuring scalability and performance enhancement.
- Conduct due diligence on emerging technologies, advocating for those aligned with business needs and architectural vision, anticipating integration challenges, and ensuring seamless transitions.
- Maintain a strong focus on software quality, reliability, and security throughout the development lifecycle
- Build and nurture a high-performing engineering team
- Collaboratively define and refine the long-term technical vision and principles to accommodate evolving business needs and technological advancements.
Requirements :
- Experience in engineering leadership role in EdTech
- Product Delivery Expertise : Proven track record in leading end-to-end design, development, and launch of scalable software products
- Visionary Technology Leadership : Ability to integrate technological advancements with business objectives
- Cross-Functional Leadership : Ability to guide pivotal decisions and foster collaboration across disciplines
- Broad IT Acumen : Comprehensive portfolio of IT expertise spanning network architecture, data engineering, cybersecurity, and software development
- Demonstrated success in scaling up companies from a technology standpoint
- Comprehensive portfolio of IT expertise spanning network architecture, data engineering, cybersecurity, and software development
- Skillful at distilling complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
