POSITION OVERVIEW
As an IT Manager , you will oversee the management and execution of our IT infrastructure, systems, and tech stack, ensuring everything runs smoothly to support the company's operations.
You will be the go-to person for all technical support needs, troubleshooting, and management of both internal systems and external integrations.
Email deliverability will be a core area of focus in this role, as maintaining effective communication channels is essential for both internal processes and client-facing activities.
Your expertise in evaluating and maintaining various tech stacks will play a vital role in helping Coalescence continue to scale.
You'll also work closely with the leadership team to ensure all systems meet the operational needs of the company and are optimized for efficiency.
This role requires a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on technical work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and maintain all systems and platforms in the Coalescence tech stack. Ensure they integrate seamlessly to support the company's daily operations and strategic goals.
- Lead initiatives and best practices to ensure optimal email deliverability, including managing SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and handling blacklist / whitelist management.
- Administer core IT systems such as network infrastructure, software applications, and cloud services. Ensure system backups and security protocols are in place.
- Be the first point of contact for all technical issues, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring timely resolutions across the organization.
Provide excellent customer service and technical support to team members.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to safeguard company data, manage firewall configurations, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Lead IT-related projects, including the deployment of new systems, software upgrades, and the implementation of IT processes that enhance operational efficiency.
- Work with third-party vendors (e.g., Deel HRIS, cloud services, CRM platforms) to ensure optimal service delivery and negotiate contracts.
- Develop training materials and resources for staff on IT systems, tools, and cybersecurity best practices. Conduct workshops and one-on-one sessions as needed.
- Collaborate with the leadership team on special IT projects, driving initiatives that enhance system efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Actively monitor email deliverability metrics, track bounces, and optimize processes for marketing and internal communications.
- Create and maintain IT documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting guides, project progress reports, and vendor contacts.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3-5 years of experience as an IT Manager or a related technical role, with a strong track record of managing IT infrastructure and systems.
- Experience working with email deliverability issues and resolving email-related problems.
- Hands-on experience with a variety of technologies, including cloud platforms, cybersecurity software, VPNs, firewalls, and HRIS systems like Deel.
- Proficiency with network infrastructure, system backups, disaster recovery, and system security protocols.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in layman's terms for non-technical team members.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose complex IT issues and determine effective solutions quickly.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Experience with cybersecurity best practices, such as implementing firewalls, anti-virus software, and data encryption technologies.
- Experience working with third-party vendors, managing contracts, and ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
