Entry-Level DoD Business Analyst

Job Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support our business processes by performing activities such as process governance, identifying areas for process improvement, and bridging gaps between processes and applications.

Familiarity with ITIL processes is preferred. Key Responsibilities : Process Governance : Assist in establishing and maintaining process governance frameworks to ensure business processes are effectively managed and controlled.

Process Improvement : Identify and analyze areas for process improvement, recommend solutions, and support the implementation of new processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Gap Analysis : Identify gaps between current processes and applications and provide recommendations to align business processes with application capabilities.

Data Analysis : Perform data analysis to support business decision-making, including gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify trends and insights.

Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation of business processes, requirements, and specifications.Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, ensuring that proposed solutions align with business objectives.

ITIL Processes : Utilize knowledge of ITIL processes to support service management and delivery, ensuring that IT services meet business needs.

Qualifications Must have or be eligible for a DoD Secret clearance.Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks is preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, and Visio).

Desired Skills Experience with process mapping and improvement methodologies.Basic understanding of business process management (BPM) tools and techniques.

Knowledge of project management principles and practices. Additional Information Candidates must be willing to submit to a background check prior to employment.

Physical requirements for this position include the ability to life 25 pounds regularly, the ability to move safely in confined spaces, the ability to wear personal protective gear correctly when needed, the ability to go onsite to company and customer worksites, the ability to remain seated for extended periods of time, the ability to use a computer keyboard, and the ability to see and respond to dangerous situations when needed.
