Intern Tax Summer 2026
As an intern at Forvis Mazars,you will gain valuable experience that may help you decide whetheryou want to start your career in audit or tax, or even whetherpublic accounting is right for you.
You will work on clientengagements like those assigned to our entry-level associates,gaining exposure to a variety of industries, and testing out yourtechnical know-how.
You will work alongside our senior staff andmanagement personnel, learning from their experience as you developyour skillset.
Depending on local office needs,internships are available in audit, tax, or a combination of thetwo and can be part-time or full-time.
Generally, spring semesterinternships run from mid-January through April 15th, and summerinternships can typically run from June through mid-August.
How you willcontribute :
- Work with client personnelto reconcile account differences and analyze financialdata
- Prepare individual, corporate,partnership, or other tax returns
- Calculate taxextension or estimate payments
- Participate inclient meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners andmanagers
We are looking for peoplewho have Forward Vision and :
- Solidtechnical accounting knowledge
- Effective timemanagement
- Strong oral and writtencommunication skills
- Strong computer skillspreferred, including Microsoft Officesuite
- Ability to work well with a team as wellas independently
- Problem-solvingattitude
- Willingness to takeinitiative
- Close attention todetail
- Ability to work under pressure andagainst deadlines.
- Intern candidates must beworking toward an accounting degree and CPA exameligibility
