Critical Care (ICU) Nurse Practitioner

Join a Surgical Critical Care and trauma unit with 213 beds, including 131 for medical / surgical use and 12 for critical care.

Be an essential part of the multidisciplinary team that delivers care for complex surgical and trauma patients in the critical care and stepdown units, including rounding and performing procedures.

Home to the largest robotic surgery centers.

Non-profit teaching hospital in New England. Health system includes two tertiary-level teaching hospitals, an acute-care community teaching hospital, an acute-care hospital and trauma center, three community hospitals, and a multispecialty physician group.

Career advancement! Work collaboratively with attendings and fellows willing to mentor and provide procedural skill training.

Providing high-quality care to a diverse group of critically ill patients admitted to a mixed medical-surgical critical care unit.

Flexible work schedules. Rotator shift (days or nights) typically 3 days x 13 hours per work week with one weekend per month.

No Call requirement. Epic EMR.

Requirements :

  • Board Certified
  • Critical Care, and / or surgical and trauma experience
  • Acute Care Certified preferred
  • CT license, or eligible

Compensation :

  • Guaranteed base salary
