About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : ICU Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7P-7A, 3 x 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, 2 winter holidays, no on-call Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in the ICU at the bedside within the past six months License : NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications : BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA, NIHSS, CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours Must-Have : - ASN required - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services - Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel Job Description : - Under general supervision, demonstrate the ability to handle complex nursing problems and an expanded group of nursing practices - Perform nursing interventions across various situations - Identify patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient-specific data collection, such as vital signs - Will float to all units in the hospital if ICU census is low - All units are telemetry-based - Required technical skills and critical thinking abilities necessary to provide quality care - Willingness to be flexible with different hours of operation This job offers a varied and challenging role in a dynamic work environment, catering to the needs of critically ill patients.
