Facilities Electrician

The Facilities Electrician is responsible for providing support to the facilities operation during the initial set up phase and ongoing operation thereafter through the installation, repair and maintenance of electrically powered systems, and equipment including distribution systems and equipment. The Facilities Electrician will follow accepted procedures and techniques of the electrical trade, ensuring the facilities operation is best in class. The cannabis industry is constantly evolving, so you must be open to learning and implementing new technologies and methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

General Responsibilities

Electrical Operations

• Apply electrical formulas, code requirements, and technical data to complete tasks accurately and safely
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and restore power to systems and equipment efficiently
• Plan and execute layouts and installations of electrical systems, fixtures, and controls
• Conduct scheduled inspections and routine maintenance to prevent system breakdowns
• Maintain electrical distribution systems following regulatory safety codes and best practices
• Determine material, tool, and labor requirements for assigned tasks
