JOB SUMMARIES
There are multiple volunteer positions at Crystal Mountain. Here is a summary of each of the positions within the Ski Patrol Volunteer umbrella and their responsibilities.
PATROLLER
- Mark and maintain hazards on the ski slopes.
- Provide first aid and transportation to injured and ill guests.
- Participates in avalanche rescue, lift evacuation, search and rescue operations as needed.
SAFETY PATROLLER
Promote safety on the ski slopes through education and enforcement as part of Crystal Mountain's Skier Safety Program.
FIRST AID STAFF
Performs first aid and assists guests in the First Aid room.
PHYSICIANS PATROL
Performs advanced medical care consistent with Crystal Mountain protocols.
ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT TEAM
- Paramedics, Airlift nurses and doctors that provide advanced life support care for the very ill or injured consistent with Pierce County EMS guidelines.
