University of Minnesota Physicians seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Urology group.

Join our practice of more than 20 Urology surgeons and 11 Advanced Practice Providers at the forefront of our specialty as we continue to lead innovative and pioneering efforts in urologic care.
In This Role, You Will :
- The candidate will be required to perform history and physicals, comprehensive review of systems, thorough chart reviews, prescribe medications / therapies, order diagnostic tests, and perform minor therapeutic procedures.
- Function at a very high level of autonomy. Though independent, this candidate will resource close MD availability in decision making.
- Practice will be primarily outpatient and focused on general urology, women’s urology and urodynamic studies. Clinical location will be divided between M Health Fairview CSC and M Health Fairview Edina.
Consultations will be primarily in-person with virtual options in the future.
Work 40 hours per week, the hours varying between 7AM -5PM Monday through Friday with potential of one Saturday per month in the future.
With appropriate notification, specific hours / days may be adjusted to patient, clinic and support staff needs.

We’re Looking For a PA or NP Who Is :
- A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or formal Adult Nurse Practitioner training program.
- Eligible or is certified through NCCPA, ANCC or AANP.
- Licensed or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Medical Practice (PAs) or MN APRN license or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through MN Board of Nursing (NP’s).
- Able to meet threshold criteria / qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
- Preference will be given to those with Urology or surgical experience, but this is not required for consideration
