Position : Varsity Athletics Team Manager, Men's Lacrosse
Revision Dates : 09 / 2022
Reports to : Head Men's Lacrosse Coach
Department : Athletics
Salary Grade : Maryland Minimum Wage
FSLA Status : Non-exempt
Location of Position : Gill Center, 2 College Hill, McDaniel College, Westminster, MD, 21157
Duration of Appointment : 8 / 7 / 2024-5 / 21 / 2025
Schedule : Schedule is at discretion of supervisor
Evalution Procedures : Student workers are evaluated on a continuing basis
Scope : Provide support for assigned Varsity team during practices, games and events.
Responsibilities :
- Attend practice and assist coaches with any items necessary
- Run the clock during practices
- Assist with equipment hand out
- Travel to away contests
- Keep scorebook during games
- Assist with Social Medias
Schedule :
- 20 hours max a week, must have availability from 4-7 or 8-11 depending on schedule, must be available on weekends
- Must be able to attend away contests
Requirements : Qualifications :
Qualifications :
- Current student at McDaniel with work study
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Knowledge of the rules of assigned sport
- Discretion and reliability in sensitive and confidential matters are vital
Physical Characteristics :
This position requires some physical activity. This position does have some lifting involved but not more than 30 pounds at a time.
The overall setting of the job is in the gymnasium.
