About The Position
Job Title : Technologist Job Specialty : Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Nights, 8 hours, Monday-Thursday, 8 : 30 p.
m. - 7 : 00 a.m., 40 hours per week Guaranteed Hours : Information not provided Experience : Minimum of 2+ years of current X-Ray experience required License : NH Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License, Temporary out-of-state Radiology License needed Certifications : ARRT, BLS (AHA) Must-Have : Fluoroscopy experience required- Experience with ER, OR, and bedside imaging- Experience with adolescent through geriatric patients- COVID vaccination card with booster - Work history going back at least 7 years- At least two supervisory references from the previous two years Job Description : Operate radiology / fluoroscopic equipment to produce X-ray images for diagnostic purposes as directed by the Radiologist- Position patients on the examining table and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of the specified area requested by the Physician- Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation- Move radiographic / fluoroscopic equipment to specified positions and adjust controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance- Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff- Operate mobile radiographic / fluoroscopic equipment in operating rooms, emergency rooms, or bedside- Operate film processing equipment- Perform other duties as assigned- Utilize equipment including Carestream, Siemens Luminos Agile Fluoroscopy rooms, a Shimadzu room, and GE C-arms- Manage a heavy fluoroscopy load with procedures every 30 minutes from 8 : 00 a.
m. to 2 : 00 p.m., Monday-Friday- Perform mobile imaging, including portable chest X-rays and use C-arm for spine cases, joint replacements, general surgeries, VAD insertions, and urology cases
