About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Medical-Surgical Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 19 : 00-07 : 00 Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Registered Nursing License Certifications : Required Must-Have : Advanced skills for Medical-Surgical unit Job Description : Work on a 33-bed unit with patient ratios of 6 : 1 during days and 7 : 1 during nights.
- Collaborate with unit team including three technicians per shift and a unit secretary during the day shift.- Utilize equipment such as IVs, Kangaroo pumps, and SCDs.
- Document patient care using the Meditech system.- Follow scheduling requirements of working every other weekend.- Be prepared to float to other appropriate areas as needed.
- Adhere to hospital guidelines and dress code for the unit.- Opportunity to work in a unit recognized for outstanding achievements.
