SCADA Engineer

Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced SCADA Engineer for our client, a wonderful large manufacturing organization in Spartanburg, SC! In this role, you’ll develop and enhance applications, ensuring production systems are running efficiently! This is a full time, direct hire, onsite role.

What you will be doing :

• Development, configuration, enhancement and training for supervisory control and data acquisition and manufacturing systems
• Production support and issue resolution to ensure optimal operations
• Integration with PLCs and ERP
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure the MES / SCADA environment is secure
• Reports development

What you will need :

• Able to be onsite in Spartanburg, SC
• 3-5 years expertise in engineering / development with automation and manufacturing execution systems
• Experience in Sepasoft and Ignition
• Demonstrated experience with Python, Java, SQL
• Experience with PLCs (Rockwell or Siemens); OPC-UA and MQTT
