Attorney Practice Coordinator (Formerly Legal Secretary) - Memphis (Hybrid)

Overview

Attorney Practice Coordinator coordinates and performs high level tasks to support multiple attorneys' practices. Requires excellent time management, communication and organizational skills. Requires extensive knowledge of state and federal judicial systems, and agency procedures in labor and employment law. This is a hybrid position resident in Memphis, Tennessee and follows a schedule working in-office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate attorney support from the Attorney Resource Team and other corporate departments including calendar and billing teams.
• Submit accurate and complete materials to the Attorney Resource Team, including thorough instructions and documentation.
• Communicate with the case team to ensure that duplicate requests are not submitted to the Attorney Resource Team.
• Verify court and other deadlines and alert attorneys.
• Create and update litigation matters in Virtual Binder.
• Create and timely produce Tables of Contents (TOCs) and Tables of Authorities (TOAs).
• Coordinate and finalize documents for filing with courts or administrative agencies, and service upon other parties.
• e-file documents with courts and agencies in accordance with applicable rules.
• File in NetDocuments in a timely and proper manner.
• Create and submit New Client Matters (NCM) within firm standards.
• Coordinate transcription of audio recordings.
• Coordinate printing and assembling of documents with office services personnel.
• Maintain attorney contact lists through Outlook and the Client Relationship Management system (InterAction).
• Submit daily task log identifying projects and assignments in a timely manner.
• Review and revise client pre-bills when applicable.
