POSITION SUMMARY :
Great entry level position for broadcasting students wanting to learn the basics of a successful newsroom.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS :
Aid Producer in writing news stories for KFOR / KAUT newscasts. Monitor scanners for breaking news Interact, in a positive manner, with viewers via telephone and email Dispatch crews to stories Post breaking news to KFOR.com
Candidates with the following abilities are preferred :
Strong writing ability. Calm under pressure. Great at multi-tasking.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :
Must be willing to work weekends, unusual shifts and holidays.
