- Work in an 8-bed Labor, Delivery, and Recovery unit with 2 operating rooms and 1 recovery room.- Be part of a dynamic team comprised of OB, Midwives, and Family Practice providers.
- Typical staff setup on the night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 2-4 RNs, and 1 surgical tech.- Maintain a patient ratio of 1 : 1-2 for labor and 1 : 3 for stable antepartum patients.
- Utilize equipment such as labor beds, GE fetal monitors, Monica Tele monitors, and Panda Warmers.- Manage electronic medical records using CPN and Meditech systems.
- Engage in procedures including vaginal delivery, recovery, triage, and C-section recovery.- Preferred skills include experience in newborn transition, mother-baby care, and scrub experience.
