The Avenue Bellevue development is a newly constructed mixed-use hotel, retail & residence project "The Avenue" consisting of 365 luxury serviced condominium units in 2 towers opening Summer of 2024, surrounded and in synergy with the 208 rooms and suite first class InterContinental Hotel Bellevue , convention center, several restaurants, 1,000-unit parking garage and extensive 100,000sf luxury retail space.

Join the InterContinental Bellevue at the Avenue Team! We are in search of Bell Attendants to provide luggage service, amenity delivery, and more.

The Bell Attendant position is a highly visible role within the hotel and offers the opportunity to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction.

Our Bell Attendants are typically one of the first associate guests come in contact with when they arrive on our property, and these initial interactions are vital to the overall guest experience and setting a tone of luxury for their stay.

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly : Greet and escort guests to rooms, open doors, assist guests entering and leaving the property, and inform guests of property amenities, outlet information, hours of operation, and local areas of interest.

Explain room features to guests, transport guest luggage to / from guest rooms, designated bell area etc. Assist with luggage loading / unloading, storage, and retrieval.

Provide guests with directions, help arrange transportation (taxi, shuttle, ride-share services). Provide parking rates / information to guests / visitors.

Qualifications What we need from you : Service-focused personality with previous luxury customer service experience. Luxury hotel or resort bell attendant experience preferred.

Ability to take initiative in creating genuine connections with guests, residents, fellow colleagues, and community members in a personable, engaging, and intimate manner.

Ability to work and multi-task well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.

Candidate must have excellent guest service, and communication skills. Multilingual preferred. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length.

Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift up to 80 lbs., including, but not limited to, luggage, guest items and bags on a regular and continuing basis.

Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 300 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.

Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity.
