Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Senior Agile Coach helps foster successful adoption of Agile methodologies using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) with a primary focus at the Agile Team and Agile Release Train level.

This role will serve as an agile transformation coach, in addition to acting as educator and mentor for Team- and ART-level roles.

This role also serves as the Jira Align Champion lead, training and coaching the use of the tool to other Jira Align Champions.

The work hours for this position are 8am - 5pm Eastern Time Zone. The Senior Agile Coach guides agile practice and tool implementation for a business segment in alignment with the organizational agile transformation roadmap.

They are responsible for planning, facilitating, and executing ART, Solution and Portfolio related activities, including gaining executive buy-in, providing coaching to business partners, facilitating Value Stream Workshops, and developing custom micro-trainings / workshops that proactively address the needs of those you serve.

You will mentor, coach, and train leaders and leader roles within a segment so they can embody the principles and mindset needed to support a true, generative agile culture where innovation and relentless improvement are prioritized and thrive.

As a Senior Agile Coach, you will guide the agile implementation strategy across an entire business segment, helping leaders shift to organizing around value and launching appropriately-scoped ARTs at a sustainable, thoughtful pace.

You will help leadership and ART-level coaches build behaviors and patterns that support a culture of servant leadership, innovation, and relentless improvement.

Use your skills to make an impactRequired Qualifications5+ years' experience in agile coaching / mentoring role, change management experienceExperience working in at least two agile transformations at the line of business or department levelActive SAFe 6 Program Consultant (SPC6) certificationCompleted at least one Value Stream WorkshopsLean Portfolio Management implementation experienceUnderstanding of agile development processes and methodology (more than just SAFe)Demonstrated success in implementing DevOps practices as part of increasing business and technical team agilityDemonstrated success in implementing Quality Engineering as a discipline across a line of businessExperience creating Agile implementation roadmaps and strategies in different cultures and environments-especially related to bridging the gap between IT and business partnersAbility to develop productive working relationships with a wide variety of teams and leadersCoaches with a focus on empathy, seeking to understand, and supportive collaborationTeam-oriented, passionate about developing others' skills and competenciesStrong communication, facilitation, training, and presentation skillsAbility to work well with people with varying technical and business abilitiesAbility to translate technical concepts into non-technical termsPreferred QualificationsBachelors' Degree in Business, Agile, Project Management, or a related field or experience is preferredKnowledge of agile lifecycle management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, etc.

Scheduled Weekly Hours40Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.

The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$112,400 - $154,900 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and / or individual performance.
