The Work You'll Do :

The Accounts Receivable Collections Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of revenue and assisting with our management accounts process.

A thorough understanding of an accounts receivable function is essential. Carrying out control account reconciliations to support the balance sheet is also a key part of this role.

What are my responsibilities going to be, more specifically?

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to improve collections processes and results.
  • Define, design, and implement best practice collections procedures.
  • Ensure payments are accurate, complete, and carried out on a timely basis.
  • Monitor customer credit exposure and limits.
  • Execute customer collections management processes.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc reporting to senior management on collections status and exposure.
  • Handle customer collection outreach and address customer queries.
  • Manage customer collections.
  • Analyze and review aged accounts receivables for over 500 divisions.
  • Process daily cash receipts.
  • Prepare and review journal entries to the general ledger.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulatory requirements.
  • Provide customer service to clients, customers, and stakeholders via phone and email.

What Do We Ask of You :

  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong English communications skills; both written and verbal
  • 3+ years working in a similar type of role
  • ERP knowledge and experience
  • Beverage alcohol / distributor experience is a plus
  • Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test; upon hire
