Sr. Director of Information Technology
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer & Information Services or Computer Management required, Master's degree (MA) preferred, and at least five to seven years of related experience managing one or more major information processing functions, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of three years of management experience
- Advanced working understanding of the information technology environment
- Knowledge of current trends and developments in information technology
- Knowledge of financial / business analysis techniques
- Develops requests for and evaluate proposals in reference to leading-edge information services technology, ability to read, analyze and interpret technology periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures
- Effectively presents information and responds to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
- Proficient with various Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Essential Duties
- Provides daily supervision of Information Technology Help Desk Specialist team
- Manages technical projects in alignment with organizational goals
- Assist with effective delivery of networks, development, and disaster recovery systems and processes
- Lead / assist efforts to improve IT processes
- Prepares financial budgets and presents proposals for capital projects to senior executives
- Internal liaison to answer questions; discuss, analyze, and evaluate operational IT needs; to monitor service; and to ensure for ongoing responsiveness and communication with internal customers
- Maintains close contact with representatives of firms providing data processing hardware, software and support services
- Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
- Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department
- Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements
- Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards
- Participate in all mandatory staff in-services and meetings
- Timely submission of all documentation
- Conduct all business activities in a professional and ethical manner
- Performance of other duties as required
- Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures
