About The Position
- ID : 51593758 Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Description : Minimum Experience : 2 years; 1st Timers not acceptedPatient Population : NeonatesCertifications Required : BLS and NRPGeneral Skills and Work Setting Requirements : 46 Bed NICU with 34 Level beds and 12 step down beds;
- I of 6 perinatal centers in Georgia, we transport babies in from 9 delivering hospitals; All modes of Resp. support to include Nasal Cannula, CPAP, NIMV, Vents, HFOV;
- Medication admin to include titratable drips, NG / OG and NJ feeds, Chest tubes ( Care and Maintenance), Umbilical Lines( Care and Maintenance), PICC Lines( Care and Maintenance);
- Discharge Teaching to include CPR and Car Seat testing, CCHD screens, Heel sticks for routine lab; Blood Product admin; Admits / Discharges / delivery attendance / set-up for procedures;
Daily Multidisciplinary Team RoundsRatio / Census : 1 : 3-4; 46 Bed unit with average daily census of 34Unit Systems : Epic, Pyxis, SBARScrub Color : Royal Blue or Navy, Navy after 6 / 2025RTO : MAX 7 days Weekends : 4 to 5 per 6-week schedule (Need to work at 2 Minor and 1 Major Winter Holidays)Floating : Yes, within facility and sister campus (Piedmont Columbus Northside)Call Requirements : 1 to 2 shifts per 6 week scheduleHolidays : If one major holiday falls in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.
If two major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his / her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
