The Work
This position is part of the Sikorsky Supplier Quality - Supplier Performance team, within RMS. This role reports to RMS Quality - Supplier Performance Senior Manager.
This position will serve adjacently to the Supplier Quality Excellence (SQEx) organization. The role is physically located in Stratford, Connecticut.
The candidate will function as a performance lead for the DQR / CQR model across the Sikorsky supply base. They will partner with SQEx and with DQRs / CQRs, SQE, SCM, Production, and other functions to assure progression of Supplier development, compliance and performance to requirements.
Responsible and accountable for assessing and improving DQR / CQR system performance. To include influencing effective methods to reduce escapes to Sikorsky.
A successful candidate will better enable Sikorsky's ability to ensure supplier issues stay at the supplier and are resolved by the supplier.
Desired skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of AS9100
- Greenbelt certification; demonstrated process improvement experience.
- Familiarity with SSQS, SAP, Solumina, and JIRA
