- Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures - Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, Hemodynamic monitoring, IABP Placement / Removal, Impella insertion, Laser Assisted Procedures, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Pulmonary Artery (PA) line insertion, Right heart catheterization, Rotablader athrectomy, Temporary Pacemaker;
- Equipment / Operation / Maintenance - PACS, Stocks supplies; Abdominal and Pelvic - Angioplasty, Embolization, Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement, Stent placement;
- Vascular Studies / Procedures - Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography; Equipment and Devices - Siemens; Procedural Responsibilities - Accurate monitoring, Equipment set up, Prep access site, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Room circulator, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose);
Professional Knowledge and Skills - Isolation Precautions, Use of Rapid Response team
Certs required : ACLS, BCLS, ARRT
Certs Preferred : ARRT CI
The Cath Lab Technologist in the state of WV must possess a RT license in order to run fluoro machines in the lab.
Experience required : 2+ year
Travel experience : Required
State License : Yes, required; may submit with license pending but most post prior to start (1-2 week ETA)
Scrubs provided : Yes
EMR : Cerner
