Job Title : Site Reliability Engineer
Job Overview : Augment Jobs is seeking a proactive and skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this full-time remote position, you will ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our applications and systems.
You will collaborate with development and operations teams to implement and maintain infrastructure, automate processes, and troubleshoot issues.
Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Develop automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and configuration management.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application reliability and performance.
- Conduct capacity planning and disaster recovery planning.
- Document processes and maintain knowledge bases.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
