Job Title : Technical Customer Support Specialist
Job Type : Full-time / Direct Hire / In Person
Reports To : Director of Customer Operations
Hours : Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
Pay : Targeting $50,000 annually

Here is what you will be responsible for as their Customer Support Specialist :
- Act as the lead Customer Service Representative for defined Project Customers, gathering information / project details, providing pricing and communicating with multiple internal teams to ensure order accuracy
- Act as a materials expert in product engineering, design, innovation, and customer education
- Review customer documentation / project details to support order entry, production scheduling, materials management, transportation planning, and conformance
- Participate in weekly team project reviews to go over job completion status, exception management, shipping schedules and resolve complaints or eliminate delays
- Document and communicate revised production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, customer service, sales, procurement, scheduling, production, or engineering
- Coordinate shipping activities
- Support invoice management for customer projects
We're actively looking for strong Customer Service professionals with the following background profile :
- HS Diploma / GED is required
- 5+ years of prior customer service experience in a manufacturing / construction related environment
- Must be mechanically inclined with a familiarity to product drawings / layouts / blueprints
- Prior experience with production control and scheduling
- Experience with CAD programs
This position requires working within and between teams, willingness to learn complex technical products, educate others on their use, maintain a focus on continuous improvement of process and product, communicate directly with customers, processing all order entry, and supporting drawings as needed.
You will be working directly with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, invoicing and production exceptions.
