Sr. Director Global Program Management
Our client is a well-established EMS company, providing contract manufacturing services for multiple industries (Aerospace & Defense, Medical Equipment, Semiconductor, etc.
around the world. The role of the Sr. Director Program Management (GPO) is to "own" the program management process, across the enterprise, and to drive process improvement, in such a way that supports the organization’s objectives and provides the highest level of efficiency possible.
Essential Functions and Competencies
The Sr. Director, Program Management (GPO) is responsible for bringing the process to full maturity. The GPO is also responsible for managing their role such that improvements are deployed and soon become business as usual, continuing to evolve into the future.
- Manage process design, drive process improvement, and oversee process monitoring
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining a strong rapport with internal and external customers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and time management skills, ability to manage globally, and strong attention to detail.
Position Responsibilities
The GPO standardizes, defines, and owns the process, such that there is a single version of the truth, ensuring data is visible, accurate, accessible, credible, timely and complete, thus fueling agile decision making.
- Building best-in-class, standardized processes and functions, with an appreciation that flexibility is key to success
- Being recognized within and across the organization as the go-to’ expert and owner of program management processes
- Enterprise-wide change management, including stakeholder engagement and training for users
- Process design (including process mapping), process monitoring and process improvement.
- Monitor user compliance, tracking where, and how well, the required process is being followed by the users

- Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively direct, coordinate, and follow up with team members to ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated expertise in customer program management
- Ability to support a 24 / 7 global business operation as required
- Available for travel up to 25% of the time, as required
Education / Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred)

An executive compensation program is being offered for this position (incl. salary, bonus, and long-term incentives).
Location
This position is based in Greater Phoenix, Arizona. A relocation support program is available.
