Job Opportunity : Registered Behavior Technicians & Behaviorally Trained Staff Wanted!
Bridging Independent Living Together, Inc. (BILT, Inc.) is seeking dedicated and passionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or behaviorally trained staff members to join our growing team! We are a non-profit organization providing essential services to individuals ranging from 4 years old through adulthood, with a primary focus on those aged 14 to 30.
Who We Are : At BILT, Inc., we offer in-home and community-based programs that focus on skill-building and promoting independence.
Using naturalistic and incidental teaching methods, we help individuals develop critical life skills they will use throughout their lives.
We work collaboratively with families to assess needs, set goals, and create personalized plans for each individual, always keeping them at the center of our programming.
Common goals we work on include :
- Volunteering and community involvement
- Exercise and physical fitness
- Life skills such as navigating the community and performing daily activities (ADLs and IADLs)
As we continue to grow, there is ample opportunity for career progression and involvement in developing new programs and models!
Responsibilities :
- Support individuals in skill-building for activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
- Provide direct care in-home and in the community for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Offer respite care to guardians
- Maintain a professional relationship with the family while building positive rapport with the individual
