About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular (Stress Test) Job Specialty : Heart and Vascular Institute Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 8 Hour Days Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : License : Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing Certifications : BLS and ACLS required Must-Have : Knowledge of Nuclear, ETT, and Dobutamine stress tests Job Description : Perform inpatient and outpatient stress testing.
- Work independently and maintain an organized workflow. - Demonstrate excellent communication skills and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Manage patient ratios, handling up to 20 patients per day. - Support the team with the help of a physician, nuclear medical technician, LPN, lead RN, and nursing manager.
- Utilize the Epic charting system proficiently. - Participate in a thorough orientation process per facility protocol, with 3-4 days of side-by-side training with a nurse.
- No floating required to other units. - Adhere to scheduling expectations with no weekend rotations and no on-call duties.
- Be available as the facility is closed on the six major holidays, with the day after Thanksgiving considered a holiday.
- Preference for contract extension if taking a full week off.
