New York : $160,000 to $180,000

Responsibilities

As an Engineer for Minting and Backend at Crossmint, you will be at the forefront of developing the software and infrastructure needed to custody Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) and other digital assets.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Write high quality code : correct, secure, performant, maintainable.
• Write architectural and design docs : individually and with the team
• Run your projects end to end : from conceptualization, to shipping and beyond.
• Perform On-Call duties : participate in paid on-call shifts (once or twice a quarter).
• Mentor new team members

About you

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications :

• Excellent Communication Skills : Demonstrate excellent written and spoken English.
• Educational Background : Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent knowledge and skills with industry experience.
• Professional Experience : Accumulate 3-5+ years of professional experience in developing production systems, with a focus on minting technologies.
• Programming Expertise : Showcase advanced knowledge in at least one modern programming language such as Javascript, Java, Python, Scala, Ruby, etc.

with an emphasis on cryptographic implementations.

Preferred Experience

We highly value candidates with the following experiences :

• Provable experience shipping high quality code
• Excellent reading and writing comprehension skills in English
• Experience working on a team and references to back it
• Educational Background : Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent knowledge and skills with industry experience.
• Programming Expertise : Showcase advanced knowledge in at least one modern programming language such as Typescript, Javascript, Java, Python, Go, Rust, Solidity, Kotlin, etc.
