Full Job Description

The slot technician’s primary duty is to maintain slot machines and gaming equipment, so they remain in good working order, ensure all guests are at least 21 years of age while on the gaming floor and provide guest assistance throughout the hotel. Must be energetic and take initiative.

Responsibilities

Imitate jackpots and hand pay, verify accuracy of information when filling out W2G paperwork.

Must be familiar with electronic and associated gaming equipment and possess a willingness to learn.

Maintain and repair slot machines and other gaming equipment

Maintain ticket stock, locks, lights and preventative maintenance ot gaming machines.

Perform machine installations and conversions.

Must be available to work all scheduled shifts, nights and holidays as required.

Must be able to lift fifty pounds, use a hand truck to move gaming equipment and must be able to climb ladders.

Other duties will be assigned that will include customer service.

Qualifications

Perform responsibilities efficiently to assist with the achievement of organizational goals.

Must hold a valid South Dakota Gaming License

Strong team - oriented interpersonal skills
