Pay - $22.50 - $27 per hour
Job Description
- The Quality Inspector will perform routine inspection of incoming goods for various product lines in accordance with standard operating procedures and ensure all specified criteria are met.
- The position will also be responsible for supporting process flow for all products and assisting with the daily maintenance of Process Change, Planning Logistics, Cross-Training, and Quarantine control / disposition.

- Routine inspection of incoming goods
- Completion and accuracy of product and receipt related to quality control records
- Maintenance of receipt logs and quality control records
- Equipment calibrations
- Managing lab supplies and test materials
- Performing incoming product evaluation tests
- Generating nonconformance reports
- Supporting database of critical vendor performance measures
- Coordinating testing and disposition of product returns
- Troubleshooting incoming product performance issues
- Assisting with Out of Specification results investigations
- Training RI Associates
- Collaborating on RI department protocols
- Assisting with new product / method transfer
Work Site
CARLSBAD, CA.
Work Environment
- 6 or 7 AM start time.
- Works primarily at site locations, in office environments including cubicles and / or in and around shipping / receiving docks, stock rooms, storage locations, and laboratory environments.
- Extensive walking and counting inside walk-in freezers may be required.
- May pass through areas where chemical-based allergens may be in use. Must be able to lift, push, and pull 30-40 pounds consistently;
may be required to lift 50 lbs.
- May use material handling equipment such as push carts and pallet jacks.
- Depending on the area of the building, personal protective equipment such as lab coats, coveralls, hood, facemask, hairnets, and / or safety gloves may be worn.
