Stackwell recently completed a Series A financing round, positioning the firm well for breakout growth in 2024 and beyond.

Director of Program Operations & Delivery :

Stackwell partners with financial services firms, HBCUs, community organizations, and professional sports teams to grow and support financial wellness for students, small business owners, and underrepresented consumers.

Within every partnership, we engage program sponsors and community organizations to provide seed grants and financial education to program participants.

This role will focus on successful and efficient onboarding, delivery, and execution of partnership programs for program participants and program sponsors.

The Director of Program Operations and Delivery will be responsible for the execution of partnership programs, reporting to program partners, and managing Stackwell’s relationship with its partners.

The ideal candidate will have strong program management, professional services, and / or partnerships operations experience, with an interest in financial services and fintech.

Responsibilities :

  • Translate program contract terms into an execution plans (both internal and external).
  • Ensure partner deliverables and timelines are defined and shared across team and partners.
  • Own product and partnership strategy to drive execution and operational efficiencies and improve existing and future partnership programs.
  • Evaluate potential and existing programs and drive continuous process improvement for partnership programs.
  • Responsible for ongoing relationship management with partners; including establishing a regular engagement cadence with partner program counterparts.
  • Collect and update rosters from community partners and manage them within Stackwell’s system.
  • Manage funds transfer and custody accounts for sponsor partners.
  • Manage all milestones, operational communication, and event planning (in person or virtual) with partners.
  • Coordinate event execution (workshops, seminars, kickoff events, etc.) with Stackwell team, partners and outside vendors.
  • Collaborate with other Stackwell teams (marketing, product, engineering) to ensure resources are in place to execute program requirements.
  • Query all program reporting and insights, package the results, and deliver to partners.
  • Oversee any program’s associated research study, ensuring it is executed according to plan.
  • Manage and third parties (contractors, consultants, services) directly involved in program delivery.
  • Perform internal reporting to present within Stackwell to assess overall health and performance of programs.
  • Lead customer experience (CX); includes driving customer-first culture, owning customer experience strategy, and managing outsourced CX support team.
  • Partner relationship management (fielding questions, concerns, etc.) for partners in active programs.
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative input and insights to support business development team’s ability to sell future partnership programs and renew existing programs.

Qualifications :

7+ years of management consulting, program management, professional services, and / or partnerships operations experience, with an interest in financial services and fintech .

Prior startup experience a plus.

  • Ability to understand the strategic goals and objectives of our partners and communicate with them effectively. Experience advocating for partners and getting stakeholder buy-in to address partner feedback.
  • Track record of successfully delivering projects with a high level of efficiency and high standard of excellence.
  • Comfort with data analytics and reporting on impact metrics.
  • Relationship building and collaboration skills with a proven ability to motivate through influence and connection. Ability to develop credibility and respect with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • A fast learner with a good sense of judgement and original thinking. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust quickly to change.
  • Creative problem solver. Able to identify real obstacles and viable solutions.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Role is remote but ideally based in Boston or NYC, which is where most of the team is based.

  • You have high emotional intelligence (EQ) and empathy, and can use this to communicate with Stackwell partners and users (some of whom have a mistrust of financial markets due to historical exclusion) in a culturally congruent way.
  • You have strong leadership skills with a team-oriented and collaborative approach to work.
  • You are a strong project and team manager who drives organizational efficiency and keeps initiatives on track with very little oversight.
  • You are versatile and have the ability and willingness to flex across various roles, responsibilities within the organization.
  • You are comfortable directly challenging opinions, assumptions, and actions, but always get behind the decisions that are in the best interest of the company.
  • You are driven by a personal passion for Stackwell’s mission to close the racial wealth gap.

Working at Stackwell :

This position is full time. Stackwell was founded in Boston, but our team works remotely. Work hours can be flexible but covering regular trading hours for the U.

S. stock market will be required.
