Job Description :
- Work on a telemetry unit with a focus on the cardiac patient, including Congestive Heart Failure, rule-out myocardial infarction, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and arrhythmias.
- Provide secondary support for patients with respiratory problems, such as COPD and pneumonia.
- Manage patients diagnosed with Heart Failure, Respiratory Failure, NSTEMI, COPD, and Pneumonia.
- Required to work every other weekend and cover holidays as needed.
- Floating to different facilities within the health network as needed.
- Complete orientation with 16 hours of non-billable orientation.
- Required to complete modules during orientation; average 2-4 hours (non-billable).
- Compliance requires a full file by noon EST the Wednesday prior to the start date, with no accepted time off after submission.
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are mandatory, with only medical or religious exemptions considered.
- Not accepting local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
