Samantha Younes with Robert Half is offering an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk to become a part of our team in Portland, Oregon.

The role involves the preparation and reconciliation of job cost data, maintaining cost lists, and developing procedures for cost accounting functions.

You will also be responsible for file management and occasional assistance in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable as needed.

Responsibilities :

  • Preparing job cost data for accurate posting and investigation of any erroneous data.
  • Reconciling data to ensure correct postings.
  • Maintaining cost lists for machine assembly and spare parts orders.
  • Developing and implementing systems and procedures for accumulation systems and cost accounting functions.
  • Determining fixed costs such as salaries, rent, and insurance.
  • Managing files for vendor invoices to identify specific cost data.
  • Planning, predicting, and recording variable costs such as purchases of raw materials, labor, and operation costs.
  • Providing occasional assistance for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable as needed.
  • Utilizing skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform job functions effectively.
