Certification DetailsMust have 2 of the following registries : ARRT registration in Radiology (R), Computed Tomography (CT)Current BLS certification (or must be obtained within 90 days).
Job DetailsThe Radiologic Technologist is responsible for quality and efficient completion of radiologic procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing patient education, quality patient care, and meeting all regulatory compliance.
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of imaging procedures of at least two of the modalities listed.Practices radiation safety and adheres to ALARA standards.
Performs QC in accordance with manufacturers recommendations.Flexible in rearranging work schedule to help fill in for emergencies, illnesses, and vacations.
Must be self-motivated, use independent judgment, and be able to work with minimum supervision.Positive and supportive team member to all staff members of the hospital.
Responsible for ordering, stocking, and maintaining supply inventory.Works overtime as directed and takes call as required.
May be required to obtain additional training or certification to meet the needs of the department.Assists with taking call, working holidays, and / or weekends.
Job RequirementsMust be at least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions).Must be able to legally work in the United States.
Must be able to pass a background check.Must be able to pass a drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable).Must complete employee health meeting.
