Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Birmingham, AL. This role is perfect for a professional looking to make a significant impact in a leading healthcare facility while experiencing the vibrant culture of Birmingham.
Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment and ensure quty control
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and monitor for adverse reactions
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to analyze imaging results and provide accurate diagnostic information
- Prepare and process radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety protocols
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
Qufications :
- ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or NMTCB certification (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) required
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in nuclear medicine technology
- Proficiency with nuclear medicine imaging equipment and techniques
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and protocols
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with patients and healthcare professionals
