Key Responsibilities :
- Control System Design : Develop and implement control systems for manufacturing processes, including PLC programming, an HMI development.
- Automation : Lead automation projects, from concept to commissioning, ensuring seamless integration with existing manufacturing systems.
- Process Optimization : Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, and implement control strategies to improve production efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting : Provide technical support for troubleshooting and maintaining control systems, ensuring minimal downtime in production.
- Project Management : Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet all quality standards.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, and quality to ensure control systems meet operational needs.
- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation for control systems, including schematics, software code, and system manuals.
- Compliance : Ensure all control systems comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations, including ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
- Continuous Improvement : Stay current with advancements in control systems and automation technology to continually enhance the company’s manufacturing capabilities.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing controls, automation, or a related role.
- Proficient in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.), HMI development, and SCADA systems.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation technologies, and control system design.
- Experience with robotics, motion control, and vision systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations, including ISO 9001.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex control system issues.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
