Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Two to five years of office experience demonstrating an increase in responsibility, including a minimum of 6 months of data entry experience.
- Experience scheduling surgeries
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Call center or other experience making and receiving 50-75 calls per day
- Experience with high email volume
Job Description
An employer is looking for a Scheduling Coordinator for Surgeries. In this position, you will schedule cases for and maintain relationships with, the scheduling offices of our client surgeons and hospitals.
This is a remote position. We are looking for a professional and personable individual to handle the scheduling of intraoperative neuromonitoring for surgical cases.
Scheduling requests are taken via phone, email, and fax. This person will fulfill scheduling requests at the office and provide assistance to our billing department by gathering ICD10 coding and insurance coverage information for our patients.
Strong communication and customer service skills are very important as this person will be speaking constantly with our hospital and surgeon clients.
Attention to detail is also a must; this person will be obtaining clinical information required for patient care and entering that information in our scheduling system.
Familiarity with medical terminology and / or experience in the medical field is a plus.
