Lead Software Engineer

About This Team :

Citrix Secure Private Access (SPA) is a cloud / on-premises based security service that provides Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) to corporate applications.

ZTNA is a security model that grants access to authorized users and devices, based on pre-defined security policies, rather than granting access to an entire network.

As the lead engineer in the SPA team in ZTNA space, you will drive initiatives end to end, working alongside lateral functions like Product, Customer Experience, Security and SRE.

Apart from the business initiatives, you will identify architectural and technical tracks and lead conversations on best practices for enterprise applications at scale

Job Description / Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with Team Leads and Product Management to define the foundations and roadmap of the team.
• Deliver high quality code considering design patterns, security, performance and optimizations inclusive of the necessary unit and integration tests.
• Enable the spirit of high quality code and software development best practices within the team through mediums like code reviews and other knowledge sharing platforms.
• Be on the lookout for process improvements that can accelerate team efficiency and facilitates high performance.
• Mentor and guide other members on the team wherever there is an opportunity for knowledge sharing.
• Have good understanding of Agile / SCRUM.. sprint ceremonies .
• Understand business and product well to work in conjunction with Product teams to arrive at the best deliverable considering customer experience and engineering feasibility.

Required Experience / Skills :

• Requires mastery level knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have deep knowledge of project management.
• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 6 to 8 years of prior relevant experience; or Master's degree with 6 years;

or PhD with 3 years of experience.

• Recognized master in professional discipline
• Hands on development experience on .net, GoLang .
• Good knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms and OS
• Hands on knowledge on Databases like MySQL , Cosmos
• Hands on experience in Multi-threaded programming, and good knowledge of networking concepts
• Git, Jenkins and CI / CD processes.
• Knowledge on cloud solutions like Azure / AWS will be a positive
• Understanding with Docker, Kubernettes.
• Knowledge of Agile development practices
